Return policy

Exchange/Return instructions:

Please contact us for an authorization number prior to sending your item back for a return/exchange.
Send us an email with your request to: info(at)dog-collar-store.com
Please include this information at the beginning of your e-mail:
• Order number (Invoice No.)
• First & last name
• Reason for return /exchange
Please add any information relevant to your ordered item. If you need to return/exchange multiple items simply repeat each step for each item.

If you ordered a muzzle:

• What size muzzle did you receive? (At the end of the muzzle strap which goes around the neck there should be a letter and/or number. )
• Attach a photo of your dog wearing the muzzle: Front and profile.

If you ordered a collar:

• The size of your dog’s neck.
• A photo of the collar, opened and lying flat and ruler along the length of the collar.

If you ordered a harness:

• Your dog’s measurements: (neck size + chest size)
• Photo of your dog with the harness on: Front and profile

If you received a wrong item:

• Send us the link to the item you expected to receive
• A photo of the item that you received

Please note: Do not ship any items back until you have received a return authorization number.

Damaged Items or Wrong Shipment

All items (except close-outs) are returnable provided it is within 21 days of delivery. Customers are required to pay additional shipping for exchanges. All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee unless the item is defective or the order was improperly filled.If you have received a damaged item or the wrong item, please accept our apologies.

  • Damages: We will file a claim with our shipping company and send a replacement as soon as we obtain a claim approval number, usually within 48-72 hours. If you require immediate replacement, we will charge your credit card for the second shipment and offer a refund once our shipping company has made a determination regarding the first shipment.
  • Incorrect Shipments: You will be charged at the time the second order is sent and reimbursed once the return or incorrect item is received at our location.

    We recommend that you carefully pack your return and insure it to with the shipping company to avoid liability in case the item is damaged in transit. If you return items in a condition that isn't just like new, we will not provide a refund. We will donate the item to our local rescue program on your behalf. You will not receive credit for these returns. You will have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping dogs that are less fortunate.

    Pack Your Return -If your return meets the above criteria, wrap your item carefully Enclose a copy of your packing slip with the return.

    Free shipped items, bite sleeves and other heavy weight items - are subject to $25 fee per each item when returned

    The returned item must meet the following qualifications:

    • Item(s) must be unused
    • Item(s) must be in original packaging
    • Packaging should be in re-sellable condition (appear in a manner that you would expect an order to be received in)
    • Item(s) must be received at our location within 21 days of delivery.
    Items returned after 21 days of delivery will be donated to our local rescue program.
